About Ms.Jennifer J. Manly, LPC, M.Ed., NCC
Ms. Manly specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and has been
intensively trained by members of Behavioral Tech, LLC, founded by
Marsha Linehan-the developer of DBT. Her approach to therapy
includes providing therapeutic services in a warm, non-judgmental
environment that balances acceptance with change strategies.
Ms. Manly’s educational training is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and
she will work with you to see the interaction of your thoughts,
feelings, and behaviors. Given she is an intensively trained DBT
therapist, Ms. Manly will facilitate this by balancing acceptance
(validation) with change strategies and teach you skills that you
can use in your every day life. She emphasizes the importance of the
therapist-client relationship and will tailor your treatment to meet
your individual needs to help you create a life worth living by
reducing your current level of pain and suffering.
